Kim Kardashian's SKIMS unveils new bra with built-in nipples

Let's face it, not all women have the confidence to go braless as much as they want to. Luckily, Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand, SKIMS, has found a solution to this dilemma—launching brassieres with built-in faux nipples.

Dubbed "The Ultimate Nipple Bra," the new undergarment features cups with nipple-esque protrusions on them to create the illusion that you are actually going braless and feeling "cold."

Kardashian unveiled this nipple bra in a humorous retro-vibed advertisement uploaded on her Instagram account on Saturday, Oct. 28.

In the 30-second clip, the glasses-clad media personality admitted that although she's not a scientist, she has created an ingenious product that will allow you to join the "free the nipple" movement, well, without actually doing so.

“Earth’s temperatures are getting hotter. The sea levels are rising. The ice sheets are shrinking. And I’m not a scientist, but I do believe everyone can use their skill set to do their part,” the SKIMS co-founder began.

“That’s why I’m introducing a brand new bra with a built-in nipple. So no matter how hot it is, you’ll always look cold.”

She continued, “Some days are hard, but these nipples are harder. Unlike the icebergs, these aren’t going anywhere.”

As witty as the campy ad and eye-popping product are, so are the reactions from Kardashian's social media followers.

One user wrote, "As an environmental scientist - I approve this msg ๐Ÿ˜‚," while another one said, "This is... the best thing to ever happen."

"This is iconic. I love the ad so much," one fan said, as another agreed by saying, "Funny and sexy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜"

There are, of course, those who throw skepticism at the product, with comments like, "WHY would you want this?!" "I def just watched this 7 times but still can’t tell if it’s real๐Ÿ˜‚," and "That's so embarrassing."

Still and all, Kardashian was proud to announce that the bra comes not only with built-in nippies and a "shock factor" but more so, a philanthropic aim.

The businesswoman said that 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to One Percent for the Planet, an environmental organization that calls on businesses to contribute one percent of their revenue to globally conscious causes.

SKIMS Ultimate Nipple Bra will drop on Oct. 31, at 9 a.m. PT (that's 1 a.m. on Oct. 31 in the Philippines) through the brand's website.
