Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira  is on top of the Missosology leaderboard.

The 70th Miss Universe pageant is only a week away. And as expected, pageant experts and pundits have started picking their early favorites and bets to win the pageant—which will happen on Dec. 12 (Dec. 13, Philippine time).

According to Missosology, Ferreira oozes with “international appeal and magnetic stage presence,” which isn’t surprising given her background as a professional model. PhilSTAR L!fe’s own early standouts for the 70th Miss Universe includes Ferreira as a top contender for the crown. She is, indeed, a strong threat in the competition this year.

Colombia’s Valeria Ayos ranked second in Missosology’s list, noting that she has immensely improved since her stint at the Miss Earth 2018 pageant.

The third pick is Harnaaz Sandhu of India, another early fan favorite. MIssosology notes Sandhu’s “beauty, height, and the speaking ability every Indian representative possesses,” as well as her past charitable works before even becoming her country’s Miss Universe representative.

Spain’s Sarah Loinaz and Luiseth Materan of Venezuela are in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

The Philippines’ Beatrice Luigi Gomez also managed to crack Missosology’s top 10 hot picks, placing in the eighth place—just below other early favorites such as Puerto Rico’s Michelle Marie Colon and Brazil’s Tereza Santos.
