Sparkle Spell 2023 brought together Kapuso stars and content creators to dress up as characters of famous movies and series with the theme “Fabulously Frightening” on Oct. 22 at XYLO at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

That evening, the event recognized the celebrities with awards such as “Stars of the Night,” “Stunner Award,” “Most Fabulous Couple of the Night,” “Scariest Outfits,” and “TikTok Crowd Favorite.”

The stars got creative and dressed up as different characters as accurately as they could, while others added twists to their costumes for the second annual Halloween party hosted by Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

While some attendees wore unique costumes, some happened to have the same idea as the others. *ahem* Zoro *ahem* No shame, though! Each one of them brought their own spin to their looks.

Ahead, check out the celebrities who matched costumes with each other:

Mauie Francisco, Danica Ontengco, Kaloy Tingcungco, and Vianna Ricafranca as Cruella de Vil

Dressed up as the same character, Mauie Francisco, Danica Ontengco, Kaloy Tingcungco, and Vianna Ricafranca embodied Cruella with different vibes.

Vianna looked fierce in her sparkly black gown and black & white wig with bangs, while Danica slayed in a red gown inspired by the 2021 live-action movie Cruella.

Meanwhile, Mauie put a twist on her props having dog balloons as her pet Dalmatians and Kaloy with his faux fur coat.

Jak Roberto, David Licauco, Sandro Muhlach, and Anthony Rosaldo as Zoro

One of the most famous mangas made, One Piece, inspired David Licauco, Sandro Muhlach, Anthony Rosaldo and Jak Roberto to dress up as Zoro, who is known for his reputation as one of the most powerful combatants in the manga.

Rocking their green hair, the three artists posed with their swords as Zoro, while Anthony had his photo taken with the LRT train as the background.

Kiel and Vito Gueco as the Volturi

The Gueco twins, Kiel and Vito looked pale and scary with their vampire costumes.

The twins got their hoods and red contacts on completing the look and aura of the Volturi, the main antagonists of famous romance and fantasy movie series “The Twilight Saga.”

Jef Moses and Kirst Viray as Aladdin

Jef and Kirst came to the party as Disney’s commoner-turned-prince Aladdin.

Kirst is Aladdin with a beard and longer hair while Jef came with his flying carpet and partner-in-crime Abu.
