This baby’s Vogue-themed birthday photoshoot is way too adorable

They say being photogenic is a skill developed over time. But then there’s baby Aurora Dawn, who’s out to prove that it could also come all natural.

The adorable tot has been spreading good vibes on Facebook since Cebu-based photography studio Smok’n Coffee shared her Vogue-inspired birthday photoshoot on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Aurora Dawn Mangaoang, or “Ada” to her family, is celebrating her first birthday on Jan. 20. To mark the milestone, her uncle Peter Joie Almasoda and father Nico Mangaoang—both owners of Smok’n Coffee—came up with a fab photoshoot that takes after the famous fashion magazine.

“Brother-in-law ko po nakaisip ng theme and also the setup. Na-inspire kami, looking at her dresses na bagay na bagay sa Vogue theme,” Mangaoang told PhilSTAR L!fe.

He said that although photographing his baby was quite challenging because “malikot is Ada,” it was fun and worth it “since ang cute niya talaga tingnan.”

And they nailed it, thanks to Ada’s favorite snack.

“To make her look at the camera, may hawak kaming Cloud 9 [chocolate bar]. Pansinin niyo po ‘yung ‘chilln’ na photo, may hawak rin siyang Cloud 9 doon,” Mangaoang explained. 

“Since nakatayo naman na siya, hinahawakan namin siya saglit tapos bitawan namin siya once naka-ready na ‘yung camera,” he added. “Minsan tawagin lang namin name niya, lilingon naman siya.”

They sure did delight netizens, as Ada’s photos have already earned over 14,000 likes and 18,000 shares to date.
