Are you a fan of Sailor Moon with loads of cash to spare? Legendary shoe designer Jimmy Choo has partnered with the Sailor Moon franchise to create limited edition bedazzled boots to mark the anime series’ 30th anniversary.

The catch is they'll cost you a cool $15,000 USD or roughly P834,082.50 a pair.

The striking Sailor Moon-inspired boots are said to be a real-life version of Usagi Tsukino’s shoes when she fully transforms as Sailor Moon, with each pair adorned with approximately 19,000 Swarovski crystals.

The fuchsia-colored boots have a 10-centimeter-tall heel which maintains the iconic look of Jimmy Choo’s classic shoes.

To celebrate the team-up along with the three-decade anniversary of the anime series, Jimmy Choo will the be putting up a pair of these striking boots on display at Tokyo‘s Mori Art Museum in Roppongi.

Those who wish to order the special Sailor Moon x Jimmy Choo boots could do so from July 1 through September 15 with limited stocks available at around $15,000 USD each.

The scheduled shipping of orders would be in February of 2023.

In related news, there's a newly launched J-pop group named SG5 with five members inspired by characters from the popular anime series Sailor Moon.

SG5 or “Sailor Guardians 5″ is set to make their U.S. debut at an Anime Expo in Los Angeles in collaboration with the classic cartoon.

The group is described as an “intergalactic pop supergroup that protects the universe from evil, injustice and negativity,” much like the Sailor Guardians and they're all set to bring a modern take to the iconic anime.

The original Japanese manga Sailor Moon, which was adapted into an anime series originally broadcast in Japan from 1992 to 1997, was dubbed in Tagalog and was popular with Pinoy kids in the ‘90s.
