Known for her "abstract exploration of native flora and fauna in vivid primary colors," Byrnes is bringing her designs to ladies' shirts, shorts, and dresses. The collection features her signature patterns as well as new ones that are specially-designed for Uniqlo. Byrnes talks about the collection as "deeply personal," with each having "their own story and have been created during different times in my life." "I take my inspiration for the natural environment around me as well as extensive studies into the prehistoric landscape of Australia when it was part of Gondwana millions of years ago," she said in a statement.
