13-year-old becomes Louis Vuitton intern after mom shares his sketches
A 13-year-old French schoolboy has reportedly joined Louis Vuitton as an intern after his mother shared his sketches on social media.
In November 2023, Louis Odessa took to X (formerly Twitter) to post her son's designs in the hopes of getting the attention of the luxury fashion house.
"I absolutely have to find a third year internship for my 13-year-old son Milan... and not just any House..." she wrote, addressing a letter to Louis Vuitton in French.
"I have never seen [my son] as amazed as the day he introduced me to your exhibition in front of the Samaritaine. He knew a lot about the partnerships and the history of Louis Vuitton," she continued, asking the brand for a one-week observation course for her son.

Bonjour @LouisVuitton
Mon fils est juste un petit peu, beaucoup, passionné par votre marque et le cuir.
Il est aussi très doué sur Photoshop sur… pic.twitter.com/BWzdHu97u7
Milan's drawings included designs for chunky shoes, heels, and other apparel with the brand's logo.
The mom's campaign was picked up by an outlet in France, BFM TV, and later reached the fashion house.
BFM TV reporter Marie Gentric shared in December that Milan was able to bag an internship with LV.
"I felt more at ease there than at school," the 13-year-old told BFM TV. "I really felt in my community. It is magic. For me, it's the beginning of life."
