This space makes personalized style possible thru collab with designers
Ensconced within the modern, sculptural façade of Opus Mall, located at the Bridgetowne Destination Estate in Quezon City, is a jewel of a concept store called Spatio. The term means “space,” and at first glance, it looks like an intimate department store with colorful displays devoted to beauty, fashion, and homeware. But as you explore the aisles of clothes, accessories, bags, and footwear, you’ll quickly realize that most of these are locally made.
It turns out that since its launch in September 2025, Spatio has been a platform for Filipino designers who make use of local fabrics and unique materials, promoting weaving and other crafts that sustain communities around the country.
Spatio manager Martin de Leon welcomed guests to the launch of their newest campaign, “Made for You,” a celebration of personal style through thoughtful customization. The event introduced designers open to collaborating with shoppers to create unique fashion and accessory pieces.
“Spatio is home to over 300 Filipino designers,” Martin explained. “We deliberately place our local brands right beside our international ones because we believe in supporting our local talent here in the Philippines. That’s what Spatio is all about—a space where creativity can thrive and where customers can discover pieces that reflect who they truly are.
“With ‘Made for You,’ we invite our guests to go beyond merely shopping. We encourage people to explore pieces that feel personal through the opportunity to be part of the creative process. At the heart of this campaign are collaborations with brands like Revibe Culture.”
The popular sustainable brand Revibe was founded four years ago by Bianca Sato. She says, “We upcycle and rework existing garments and turn them into wearable art. That’s why our tagline is ‘art you can wear.’”
Before Revibe, their original brand, R’Houzze, focused on buying and selling vintage and luxury streetwear. As their inventory grew, they found that flaws in the pieces were inevitable. Inspired by upcycling practices that date back to the ’90s, Revibe was born. New life is breathed into secondhand pieces through techniques like Japanese sashiko—a traditional stitching method—along with patches and bold, artistic street designs that resonate with people of all ages.
Revibe’s customization process begins with the client’s ideas, with suggestions offered along the way. Clients can choose from Revibe’s stock or bring their own pieces for reworking. For the month of March, Bianca and her team are at Spatio, where shoppers can draw inspiration from their racks of finished pieces or purchase ready-made items on display.
From the lifestyle and streetwear section, Martin guided guests to Spatio’s second floor, where an area called Escolta features accessory brands also offering customization this March. “We have a lot of brands that focus on our local heritage as well,” he pointed out.
Established designers and brands such as Rhett Eala, Zarah Juan, and Piñas Sadya can be found alongside Marikina-made footwear, sneakers woven from piña, wooden watches, and more. “We want all of you to experience what we have—the brands’ stories—and bring them with you beyond the doors of Spatio,” he added.
Guests met Danie and Claudette Noval, who, together with their mother Inez, run Casa Inez. With roots in Bicol, their popular bag charms are produced there. Featuring irresistible designs such as mangosteen, papaya, pineapple, and calamansi, the brand helps provide livelihood in their home province.
Paula Dimaano of Piesa invited guests to customize accessories using colorful components inspired by the ingredients of halo-halo. Twinkle Ferraren showcased a line of bags that can be personalized with vegetable patches inspired by the Baguio market. Meanwhile, Georgina Teng of Alchemista demonstrated how clients’ memories and stories—whether of a beloved pet or even a first car—can be engraved onto products.
Anyone needing a break after brainstorming their custom designs can visit Bar Shu or We the People Café, both conveniently located within Spatio. As a lifestyle destination, the store also offers specialized services such as Bruno’s Barbers and Lay Bare Plus.
Alongside these experiences, Spatio is offering exclusive in-store promotions throughout March. Ongoing until March 31, shoppers using BPI credit cards (Visa Signature, Amore Platinum Cashback, and Robinsons Cashback Card) with a minimum spend of P10,000 can receive a P1,000 Spatio gift certificate for future purchases.
Guests can also enjoy a special offer with GoTyme Bank: shoppers who use their GoTyme Card with a minimum purchase of P3,000 will receive a free GoTyme umbrella or tote bag.
Go Rewards members enjoyed exclusive perks, including gifts, coffee rewards, discounts of up to 40 percent for Classic tier and up to 50 percent for Black tier on select brands, as well as additional Spatio gift certificates based on minimum spend. Black tier members also qualified for a special top-spender package featuring a curated selection of lifestyle items worth over P25,000.
for the month of March.
These offers add another layer to the “Made for You” campaign, giving guests more ways to enjoy their visit while discovering Filipino brands and personalized pieces.
In the end, style is all about individuality—a concept that Spatio has clearly mastered, with the belief that fashion becomes more meaningful when it feels personal.
