Pinay social media sensation Mathilda Airlines spins in luxury in Loewe ad

Mathilda, also known as Mathilda Airlines Official on TikTok, is entering her iconic era as she has now caught the attention of Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe for its latest social media campaign.

On its TikTok account, Loewe posted a video showing the 22-year-old content creator doing her famous pole spin while wearing an ensemble from the brand's fall 2023 women's collection.

The spinning queen modeled a whimsical pink top partnered with a light green pleated mini skirt that takes inspiration from the Polly Pocket toys from the 1980s. The entire ensemble costs £3,275 (P227,784), with the top priced at £875 (P60,858) and the skirt at £2,400 (P166,925).

Loewe crafted the playful pieces through the use of a leather weaving technique, creating an illusion of clothes fit for dolls.

Many social media users showed their support for Mathilda's partnership with the luxe brand, including the likes of beauty influencer Bretman Rock, who commented, "I love this so much."

Mathilda, otherwise known as Vince Quinabandal, who has more than 780,000 followers, rose to prominence after her friend uploaded a video of her swinging on a pole on TikTok. After her smooth spinning technique was instantly a hit with social media users, Mathilda has since been testing poles in different places.
