Lorin Bektas buys her first luxury car at 20: 'I’m so unbelievably proud of myself'
Lorin Bektas had just fulfilled her dream of buying her first car—a Mercedes Benz GLA 25—and at the age of 20 at that.
The celebrity daughter and content creator shared her major life update on her TikTok account on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
“I just got to school and wanted to do a little touch-up makeup, while giving you guys the huge life update that I did buy my very first car at 20 years old. It is fully paid for by me and I bought it in cash,” she said.
“I got this car about a week ago and wanted to wait a little bit, drive it around, make sure I loved it before I announced it or told anyone about it, but I am actually obsessed, you guys,” she said. “It’s a Mercedes Benz GLA 250 and she is perfect.”

Lorin went on to share that it was her dream to buy a Benz for the longest time, and initially thought that it was beyond her reach.
“I didn’t think it would be possible to do it but with some hard work, prayer, manifestation, speaking things to existence, I got it done,” she shared.
“This is the biggest, most expensive thing I’ve ever bought myself and it was definitely a scary decision to make... but I believe it’s a really good investment for me. I’m happy with the car and I’m really proud of myself that I was able to do this,” she continued.
She also looked back at her teenage years “when life got really hard,” recalling the years when she was “growing up and doing things on [her] own” and coping with her mental health problems, including anxieties and the things “that were holding [her] back.”
In bliss of her recent achievement, Lorin expressed her gratitude to her followers who supported her “journey of growth and blessings.”
“I’m so, so incredibly blessed and grateful, and thank God for each and every one of you guys and pray for you every single night of my life,” she said. “I have my own car. I’m so unbelievably proud of myself,” she said.
“If there’s a goal that you wanna reach, if there is something that you wanna do right now feels impossible, I’m letting you know—with the right amount of dedication, hard work, prayers, and love, it is possible,” she concluded.
Followers, friends, and relatives, including celebrities Mond Gutierrez, her mom Ruffa, and Angelina Cruz sent congratulatory messages in the video’s comments section.

Lorin is the eldest daughter of beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez and her ex-husband, Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas. She turned 20 in August.
