The Philippines’ bet Samantha Bernardo slayed the runway of the Miss Grand International’s second round of swimsuit competition, where she received the highest number of online votes.
For the swimsuit round, 10 candidates were named as part of the Top 10—five of them from online votes, and the other five selected by judges.
Bernardo, who showed the world her signature #GRANDnadaWalk this week, garnered the highest online votes in the swimsuit competition. The other top finalists from the online voting are Indonesia, Mexico, Cambodia and Paraguay.
The five finalists who were selected by judges were Kenya, Brazil, Czech Republic, Argentina and Dominican Republic.
The pageant, held in Bangkok, Thailand livestreamed its preliminary competition Thursday night with evening gown and swimsuit rounds, where Bernardo wowed the crowd with her signature walk.
From the preliminaries of 63 candidates, the Top 20 will be chosen during the finals night on Saturday, March 27.
