Bondee IRL: Photographer and 'ukay-ukay queen' Shaira Luna recreates her avatar looks

Bondee is taking over, with people sharing their avatars and well-decorated rooms on social media, including ukay-ukay queen and photographer Shaira Luna.

ICYMI, Bondee is the newest virtual avatar social media app that lets you chat and interact with your friends on its meta-universe environment.

On Friday, Shaira shared a TikTok video of herself recreating four different outfits worn by her Bondee avatar, and got plenty of positive reactions.

"I kept seeing people sharing their avatars, but I wasn't actually curious since I was never really into online games," Shaira told PhilSTAR L!fe. "An IG friend (Edrey Paul) told me to make an account because the outfits were cute!"

After creating an account, Shaira shared screenshots of her avatar on Instagram.

"I'm still not sure what Bondee is, but what is this level of accuracy," she captioned her post, which shows a girl in denim jacket, brown flared pants and animal print accessories, holding a bottle of soda.

Clueless as to what to do in the app, Shaira asked her friend for help. Edrey then suggested that she bring her Bondee looks to life.

And so she did.

Shaira was so dedicated that she even added props and cut her hair for one of the looks!

"I loved The Sims so much back in college, although all I did was decorate houses and dress people up. That's pretty much what I think I'll be doing on Bondee," she told L!fe.

When asked about the process for this recreation, she said she goes through the app first and checks her clothes to see what's available.

"When it comes to recreating looks (both for myself and the shoots I do), I scan through the photos first and see what I have in my closet. Same for Bondee! I went through all the pieces and tried to recall what I have," she said, adding it's the same process for all the other things she recreated like her Wednesday Addams outfit and Paramore videos.
