COS races into the Year of the Horse with a new capsule collection for 2026
Lunar New Year 2026 is getting off to a galloping start as COS launches its Year of the Horse collection for 2026.
The limited-edition capsule is "inspired by the vitality and symbolism of the horse," the London-based contemporary brand said in a press release sent to PhilSTAR L!fe. Hand-drawn equine motifs smoothly flow down fabric with fluid silhouettes and tactile finishes.
By placing clean linear forms across silk scarves, cotton accessories, and soft wool layers, COS is choosing to welcome the Year of the Horse with quiet elegance. That is, after all, what the brand is known for.
Paramount to the collection is the comfort of everyday clothing, of course, but with vibrant spring tones and grounded neutrals. Owing to the Lunar New Year theme, each piece carries the harmony of elements found in nature. The capsule highlights wool knits in rich red, as well as versatile sets designed for easy styling.
Coinciding with the launch is an immersive pop-up experience in Shanghai, in the iconic Tianhou Palace. Within the historic landmark, COS put up a capsule display recalling the atmosphere of a traditional teahouse, but with a contemporary vibe.
Find the collection online and at the COS Store in SM Aura Premier.
