How to celebrate 'A New Kind of Christmas’

Published Dec 17, 2020 6:01 am

Christmas is really about the children. So while malling is still unsafe for minors, Vista Mall and Starmall came up with an idea that would put a smile on kids’ faces and still make them enjoy Christmas traditions “at the mall.”

Dubbed “Once upon a Holiday: A New Kind of Christmas,” the Holiday Special allows kids to see and interact with Santa Claus and special surprise characters through a virtual party.

The first show happened last Dec. 13 and another is scheduled on Dec. 20 to allow more children to experience the magic of Christmas while in the comfort and safety of their homes.

For more information on this special event, visit the official Facebook pages of Vista Mall, Starmall, and Vista Lifestyle Centers: NOMO and Evia.

Christmas is also a season for shopping, which is why Vista Mall and Starmall continue to offer personal shopper service to those having difficulty in shopping. The personal shopper service allows customers to shop while being safe—just call or send a Viber message to the malls’ ShopBuddy hotlines to inquire or purchase.

Customers can buy from any establishment in the nearest Vista Mall and can order from up to three stores, with no minimum order required and no shopper’s fees.

Shopped items can then be delivered on the same day or on a predetermined date by Vista Mall and Starmall’s logistics partner, GetAll.

This season, Vista Mall and Starmall will also be observing modified operating hours to allow shoppers enough time to purchase their essentials while also ensuring that the mall personnel can celebrate the holidays with their families.

Customers are strongly advised to plan their shopping trips in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Complete mall hours are available at the malls’ corporate social media pages, facebook.com/vistamallofficial and facebook.com/StarmallOfficial.

With Christmas being such a big deal for Filipinos, it is understandable to be upset over not being able to observe the traditions we grew up with. But it doesn’t mean Christmas is canceled, we just have to discover the beauty of “A New Kind of Christmas” and cherish every moment we still have with our family and friends, whether it be together or safely apart.

This 2020, discover A New Kind of Christmas with Vista Mall and Starmall. Embrace a new perspective and open up to a world of exciting possibilities.
