This bride shared a special dance with her husband and her ultimate K-pop bias at the same time
A bride got a surprise of a lifetime during her wedding when she was able to dance with not just her husband, but her bias as well.
This newlywed's photo during their first dance went viral for all the cute reasons—the groom, Anton surprised his wife, Pat during their first dance by seemingly impersonating her K-pop bias, Jeonghan of Seventeen, who is also wearing a suit, as seen in a cutout photo.
Anton and Pat del Rosario shared to PhilSTAR L!fe that they are both fans of Seventeen since 2021. The latter shared that Jeonghan is her ultimate bias because of his visuals and personality.
“I find Jeonghan's visuals insane, especially after seeing him live when they held concerts here in the Philippines. I also love his personality!” she told L!fe. “I [also] enjoy watching their variety shows.”
Looking back to their special moment, Pat couldn’t help but laugh at her husband’s gimmick.
“I literally knelt down on the floor laughing. I was laughing so hard the entire time,” she said. “But of course, we still had our special moment after he placed down the Jeonghan hanger,” she added.
She also shared how supportive her husband is to her fangirling life ever since.
“He doesn't mind me fangirling or buying K-pop merch as long as it will not take up too much of my time and that I don't forget my other priorities,” she said.
For his part, Anton told L!fe how their shared interest in dancing brought them to the K-pop world.
“We both like to dance and when we were introduced to Seventeen, we were impressed at their choreography videos, that’s where it all started,” he said.
Recalling his surprise, he said that he came up with the idea of giving Pat a core memory she could cherish—both as his wife and as a fangirl—in the cutest way possible.
“I just wanted to come up with a surprise that she would have never expected. Since it was our wedding, I wanted it to be one of the most memorable days for her and what better way to live out her K-pop fantasy than having her first dance with her bias as well as her new husband,” he said.
“I was really happy because I saw how genuine her smile and laughter were after seeing Jeonghan's cutout,” he said, looking back to his wife's reaction with his surprise.
“I've always been this supportive of her fangirling as she's always been supportive of me in the things I like to do as well,” he added.
