Gretchen Ho, Krie Lopez, and Ann and Billie Dumaliang: Modern Filipina beacons, builders and champions
Successful Filipinas Gretchen Ho, Krie Lopez, and Ann and Billie Dumaliang may come from different backgrounds, but they have one thing in common—the power to connect with and empower other women. How did each of them overcome the odds and inspire others to do the same? Simple, #SheConnects.
This Women’s Month, PLDT Home launched the #SheConnects campaign for women to inspire, elevate, and educate one another. It also puts the spotlight on the inspiring journeys of Gretchen, Krie, and the Dumaliang sisters who have become successful Filipina champions, beacons and builders of today’s generation.
Gretchen Ho
Gretchen Ho is no stranger to the spotlight. Since her college days as an award-winning athlete, she has been a role model of the youth. Before long, she gained more recognition as a TV personality and reporter.
This “Woman in Action” inspires Filipino women to speak up and take action for what they believe in. She aims to shed light on real issues, be brave enough in telling the truth through stories, and encourage others.
Billie and Ann Dumaliang
For Billie and Ann Dumaliang, the journey to success would have taken them on a much different path. But the commitment to maintaining environmental sustainability and cultivating their passion remained in their hearts.
Protecting the Masungi Georeserve is difficult and dangerous, to say the least, but the sisters believe that they needed to be brave in pursuing their purpose. Being able to establish one of the most successful environmental protection and preservation efforts in the country today, Billie and Ann are now champions, and they hope to inspire others to protect nature in their own little ways.
Krie Reyes-Lopez
Like many CEOs, Krie Reyes-Lopez could have focused on taking credit for her company’s profit and income. But it was far from her heart.
Instead, Krie advocated for social welfare and inclusivity where she received widespread acclaim. She revolutionized the Messy Bessy brand from a successful cleaning and personal care product line to a full-fledged development program that provides training, counseling and education for women and the youth.
Powered by PLDT Home’s strongest connections at home, these empowered women shared their stories in a masterclass video series.
