Be the next K-pop star: YG Entertainment to hold PH auditions in November
Do you have what it takes to be the next K-pop idol? Now's your chance to make that dream a reality as South Korean agency YG Entertainment will be holding an audition for Filipino talents in the country this November.
On their Facebook page, the agency detailed that the audition will take place on Nov. 24 at Zero Studios in Quezon City. It's scheduled at 1:00 in the afternoon.
Anyone born between 2006 and 2013 are qualified to participate.
For the screening, auditionees must choose only one category from vocal, rap, dance, or appearance that they would like to do.
Those interested must pre-register through YG Audition's website by Nov. 10. Keep in mind that once the pre-registration ends, only selected applicants will receive a confirmation email for the second audition, which will be sent on Nov. 20.
Afterwards, you must check the schedule and participate in the second audition.
Take note that pre-registration may close early and that both photos and videos must be attached when pre-registering. YG Entertainment is also not allowing walk-ins for the second audition.

Aside from the Philippines, the agency will also hold auditions in other Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, the US, and Canada.
Successful applicants will get to work with the agency which has produced popular K-pop groups BLACKPINK, TREASURE, Winner, and Akdong Musician, among others.
It is also home to actors Lee Sung Kyung, who starred in the drama series Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, as well as Jang Ki-yong who starred in dramas like My Roommate Is a Gumiho, among others.
