The admission happened via a Tiktok video challenge posted on Saturday, January 9 by Shamee Sugui. In the challenge, Julia—with her friends Shamee, Chie Filomeno, and Issa Pressman, among others—had to pick a side among two options.

The choices in the video include “single” and “taken,” “Pinoy and “AFAM,” “older” and “younger,” and “funny drunk” and “emotional drunk.”
Between “single” and taken,” Julia chose “taken.”
Between ‘Pinoy” and “AFAM” (a slang that refers to “a foreigner assigned in Manila”), Julia chose “AFAM.”
And between “younger” and “older,” Julia chose older.
Is she describing the man she is currently in a relationship with?
Julia has been romantically linked to 31-year-old Filipino-American actor Gerald Anderson since 2019, following the filming of their 2019 romantic film “Between Maybes.”
The two are yet to confirm their relationship, though Julia has in a previous interview that she is currently “ in love.”
Earlier this week, netizens were abuzz after Julia’s Instagram photo shows the young actress inside a car with her new dog and a man in the driver’s seat.
A number of Jula’s followers asked if the man—whose arm is visible in the photo—is Gerald.
