Was Gerald Anderson with Julia Barretto inside a car? IG photo sparks rumors anew
Is Julia Barretto joining the list of celebrities who are making their relationships Instagram-official at the start of the year?
This is the question the followers of the 23-year-old actress is asking after her latest Instagram post.
The post, which seems innocent enough, shows a photo of Julia’s new dog inside a car.
“New baby St. Bernard,” the caption for the post read.
But Julia’s Instagram followers were quick to notice that Julia’s post also partially shows a man’s arm on the car’s driver seat.
And who is this mysterious driver?
Many of Julia’s followers are quick to assume that the man inside the car, presumably sitting beside Julia, is her long-rumored beau Gerald Anderson.
“Alex Marasigan,” a netizen said, perhaps pertaining to the name of Gerald’s character in the ABS-CBN soap opera “A Soldier’s Heart.”
“Hmmm, ikaw ba yan, G,” someone else asked.
“Para(ng) Ge ata nag da drive,” another one said.
“G is driving you crazy, Juls,” a follower declared.
Others are asking Julia to reveal the identity of her presumed boyfriend. “Open up your relationship na please,” a follower commented.
“OMG! Reveal na rin, Jul! Will be happy for you kahit sinong boyfriend. Mahap pa rin kita!” commented another.
Julia has yet to reply to these comments. And she has remained mum on the identify of this man on her Instagram photo.
But she has admitted in a magazine interview published in November that she is “in love.”
“I think nobody understands the kind of trauma of having a relationship so public, and then also have a lot of people see when your relationship fails. Like it’s so traumatizing for me because I genuinely cared about this guy, I genuinely loved this guy, and then I shared so much that when we broke up, they thought they knew the whole story,” Julia told Mega Entertainment, explaining why she hasn’t publicly talked about her new love.
Julia and Gerald also reportedly spent time together at the actor’s resort in November.
Julia and Gerald were rumored to be an item following the filming of their 2019 romantic film “Between Maybes.”
