Weekly horoscope: What's ahead for your zodiac sign in life and love this Oct. 4-11
Your weekly horoscope is here.
This week "asks whether an old situation can work this time if approached differently," professional astrologer Monica Morales of OM.MNL told PhilSTAR L!fe.
"Venus just turned retrograde in Scorpio last Oct. 3, bringing relationships, money, trust, desire, and unresolved attachments back under review. But Mars sextile Uranus on Oct. 7 introduces movement, experimentation, and the possibility of breaking an old pattern instead of repeating it," she said.
The Libra New Moon on Oct. 10 "marks a turning point in relationships, agreements, and priorities," the astrology expert added. "With Venus retrograde ruling the new moon, however, what happens now is less about starting from scratch and more about changing the way something already in motion is being handled."
On Oct. 11, Venus will square Mars, "putting those changes to the test when desire, money, attraction, or competing needs enter the picture."
The week of Oct. 4-11 invites us to ask: "If this is going to work this time, what actually has to change?"
Check out your horoscope for the week below. (Note: For a fuller look at what's ahead, it's best to read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs altogether. Your Sun reflects your core identity and the week’s central themes, your Moon speaks to your emotional world, while your Rising sign can offer clues to where these developments may show up most visibly in everyday life.)
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Money, trust, or emotional entanglement may need a different approach now. Mars sextile Uranus can bring an unexpected invitation, idea, message, or romantic development that changes the mood completely. The Libra New Moon puts partnership back in focus. By the weekend, you may have to decide whether what you want still fits what you share with someone else.
In love, an old spark can flare up quickly, but what happens after the excitement returns will tell you whether this is really different.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
A relationship may be asking for more than emotion alone can solve. Mars sextile Uranus can help you adjust money, home, or family matters, while the Libra New Moon turns attention to schedules, responsibilities, and the details that determine whether this can really work.
Someone may want another chance for love, but fitting them back into your life could be harder than reopening the door.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
You may not need more discipline. You may need a different way of doing things. Mars sextile Uranus gives you more freedom to change how you organize, communicate, or respond to pressure, while the Libra New Moon creates room for romance, creativity, pleasure, or a project you actually enjoy.
A flirtation can take an unexpected turn, or someone you thought you had figured out may suddenly become interesting again.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
A romantic, creative, or personal desire may be making you reconsider where your money, energy, or emotional bandwidth is going. Mars sextile Uranus helps you spot what has been quietly draining you, while the Libra New Moon brings home, family, or your living situation to a turning point.
In love, someone can still pull you in, but this week may show whether the attraction fits the life you actually want.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
You may not need to push harder. You may need a different route. Mars in Leo sextile Uranus can bring an unexpected opening through friends, groups, your audience, or your wider network. The Libra New Moon changes the tone of a conversation or decision, giving you another option besides forcing the issue.
A message, invitation, or unexpected reaction can change the tone fast in your relationship. Do not assume you already know where this is going.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
The most important move may happen before anyone else sees it. A private strategy, quiet decision, or behind-the-scenes adjustment can shift your professional direction. The Libra New Moon then puts money and resources under the spotlight, forcing you to look at what is sustainable before you commit.
In the romance department, someone may say exactly what you want to hear. The real reveal is whether their actions follow.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
A friend, connection, or bigger opportunity may point you toward a route you had not seriously considered. Travel, study, publishing, or a wider audience can also change the picture. The New Moon in your sign puts the focus back on your own direction. With Venus retrograde, this is less about reinventing yourself and more about noticing what no longer fits.
A familiar attraction may return just as your standards are changing. That can make the choice more complicated than it first appears.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
A career or financial situation may begin moving in a different direction. Mars sextile Uranus helps you find another way through shared resources, support, or responsibility, while the Libra New Moon says not every next move needs to be announced yet. Work quietly. Let the strategy develop before you show your hand.
In romance, desire is shifting, and someone may notice before you are ready to explain it. Attraction can intensify right alongside uncertainty.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
A partner, client, collaborator, trip, or opportunity may send your plans in a different direction. The Libra New Moon shifts attention toward friends, alliances, and where you want to go next.
Someone can open a door in love that you never expected, but chemistry alone may not tell you whether you are headed in the same direction.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
The problem may not be the goal. It may be everything piled around it. Mars sextile Uranus can help you reorganize workload, money, or shared responsibility, while the Libra New Moon turns toward career and public direction.
In love, attraction may be there, but practical pressure can expose where the relationship is starting to feel more like work than pleasure.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
A relationship, client, or creative opportunity may respond better once you stop handling it the usual way. Mars sextile Uranus favors experimentation and spontaneity, while the Libra New Moon widens the horizon through travel, education, publishing, or a bigger direction.
A romantic connection can heat up quickly when the usual rules disappear. The surprise may be who makes the first move.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
A plan involving travel, study, publishing, or a bigger change in direction may become more workable once you adjust the structure around it. Mars sextile Uranus can help you reorganize work, routines, home, or family demands, while the Libra New Moon puts shared money, support, intimacy, or obligations under review.
Intimacy in romance can deepen fast, but so can questions about trust, access, and how much of yourself you are ready to share.
