You can get your creative juices flowing at this vibrant coworking space in Ortigas starting at P250
Working remotely comes with a lot of perks as well as some challenges. While you can take your job virtually anywhere, some places just get in the way of your productivity. Your home may be the most comfortable place but at times, you can be bogged down by distractions.
Enter coworking spaces, a hub where you can get some tasks done alongside other people doing their own number crunching. Thanks to the rise of remote work, freelancers, digital nomads, and startups are spoilt for choice for coworking spaces in Metro Manila.
A number of these offices in a business district like Ortigas costs P500 and upwards for an all-day stay. However, there's an option for those looking to save a buck when they want to cowork: work.able.
This coworking space, nestled in Cyberscape Gamma, first launched in 2019. A desk at this hub starts at P250, roughly the price of a cappuccino. But work.able wants to be more than just a desk and a space with Wi-Fi.
"Unlike conventional coworking spaces, which often feel generic and transactional, work.able delivers a seamless and flexible work experience that adapts to the evolving needs of modern professionals," Elton John Peralta, the coworking space's Head of Special Projects, told PhilSTAR L!fe.

For the freelancer who needs a new atmosphere to get the creative juices flowing, the hub has many spacious desks to set up camp.
There are meeting pods, too, where workers can brainstorm some ideas while enjoying some privacy.

The coworking space also caters to bigger groups that can make use of its conference rooms and town hall for presentations and talks.

There's a dedicated phone booth as well so you can take your calls or meetings privately.

Day-to-day, the coworking hub sees a diverse mix of professionals, according to Peralta. Entrepreneurs, teams from various industries, students, start-ups, architectural firms, and social media companies take their work to work.able.
But what makes this space special isn't its aesthetics. "It's the community-driven approach," Peralta said.
More than a place they can call home the office, work.able also wants to provide a community to the workers typing away at their desks. It holds social events like Halloween parties, yoga sessions, community games, and more to create an environment different from the typical workplace.
"Beyond infrastructure, work.able fosters a vibrant community where networking and collaboration happen naturally, creating opportunities for growth and innovation," Peralta told L!fe.
"Instead of working in isolation, members become part of an ecosystem that fuels ambition and creativity. With numerous community events, promos and activations, there’s always something new to look forward to every day."
A hot desk—meaning you can sit wherever you want—starts at P250. You can also book a dedicated desk for P550 so you have your permanent space.
work.able has spaces in Cyberscape Gamma along Topaz and Ruby Roads in Ortigas, Cyber Omega in Pearl Drive in Ortigas, Giga Tower in Bridgetowne, Quezon City, Cyber Sigma in Mckinley West, Taguig City, and Robinsons Summit Center in Makati.
