Been wanting to become a K-pop idol? This is your sign to start practicing those bop choreographies toward becoming a trainee.

South Korean multinational entertainment agency YG Entertainment has announced that it will be holding auditions for aspiring idols in the Philippines on April 16, 10 a.m. at Zero Studio PH, Diliman, Quezon City.

The audition is open to anyone born between 2004 and 2012 or ages 11 to 19.

Interested applicants should choose only one category to audition for. They may choose between vocal/rap, which requires one song within one minute without music, or dance in a one-minute duration. Applicants who will opt for dance are required to bring their own music using a mobile phone.

Aspiring idols can choose to register and audition on-site on April 16 before 2 p.m. or sign up online through this link during the pre-application period starting March 7 until April 9. You will receive an e-mail on April 12 for your designated audition time.

For further inquiries, you may reach them out through [email protected].

Successful applicants will get to work with the agency which has produced popular K-pop grups BLACKPINK, Treasure, Winner, and Akdong Musician, among others. It is also home to actors Lee Sung Kyung, who starred in the drama series Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, s well as Jang Ki-yong who starred in dramas like My Roommate Is a Gumiho, among others.
