Dreaming of visiting Sapporo? Philippine Airlines is set to offer direct flights again to Japan's winter capital.

Beyond its food and cherry blossoms, Japan is a popular destination during the winter season for its picturesque natural scenery, festivals, and relaxing hot springs. Fortunately, PAL is resuming its seasonal direct flights to Sapporo starting Nov. 23, in time for the winter season.

The offering will be a thrice-weekly service between Manila and New Chitose Airport, operating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until March 26, 2027.

PAL said in a statement that the direct service is expected to make trips more convenient and allow travelers to have more time to explore the city, especially with the morning departures from Manila and noon arrivals in Sapporo.

Aside from Sapporo, PAL also offers direct flights to Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita from the Philippines, as well as nonstop Cebu flights to Osaka and Narita.
