'Unmarry' star Nico Antonio passes 2025 Bar Exams
From playing a lawyer on screen to becoming one in real life: actor Nico Antonio officially passed the 2025 Bar Examinations.
Quantum Films, Antonio's production company, shared the news on social media after the Supreme Court on Wednesday, Jan. 7, released the complete list of passers.
“From Atty. Willie on screen to Atty. Nico Antonio in real life. WOW, nakaka-proud naman talaga!” the post read, referring to the actor's character in the 2025 film, Unmarry.
Antonio holds a degree in European Studies from Ateneo de Manila University and completed his law degree at San Sebastian College - Recoletos de Manila in 2013.
Aside from Unmarry, he has appeared in Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank, Lolo and the Kid, Kampon, and the K-dramas Confidence Queen and Big Bet.
According to the SC, 5,594 out of 11,420 passed the 2025 Bar examinations, resulting in a 48.98% passing rate.
Jhenroniel Rhey Timola Sanchez of the University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked first with a grade of 92.70%, followed by Spinel Albert Declaro of the University of Santo Tomas with a grade of 92.46%. Placing third is Alaiza Adviento of UST with a grade of 91.91%.
