Following its final episode on Saturday, Mar. 2, TAPE Inc.'s noontime variety show Tahanang Pinakamasaya! will reportedly air replays until Thursday, Mar. 7.

This came after the show closed its curtains on weekends, saying that its hosts and Tape Inc. will still strive to bring the show's mission to every Filipino family.

"Ano man ang gawin mo at ano mang problemang kakaharapin, do everything for love. Ganyan ang pagmamahal namin sa inyo mga Kapuso. Araw-araw kami ni Paolo at ang TP family at Tape Inc. maghatid ng Tahanang Pinakamasaya sa bawat pamilya Pilipino," former Manila mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, said as his closing spiel in the final episode.

Domagoso also thanked the show's advertisers and supporters, "Siyempre, thank you din sa ating advertisers at supporters at mga Kapuso natin."

Paolo Contis, one of the show's main hosts, emphasized that Tape Inc. has provided joy and surprises since 1979 through Eat Bulaga up to Tahanang Pinakamasaya.

"Maraming maraming salamat po. At ito po ang grand na Sabado. Isa na namang Sabadong hindi natin malilimutan at lahat ng ito ay alay namin para sa inyo mula sa pamilya ng Tape Inc. — ang tagahatid ng tulong-saya at unli sorpresa mula pa noong 1979 sa pamamagitan ng Eat Bulaga, hanggang ngayon dito sa Tahanang Pinakamasaya," he said.

TP's show hosts, including Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya, Cassy and Mavy Legaspi, and Chariz Solomon, among others, then held each other hands and vowed to the audience while chanting the show's theme song.

After the program ended, the official show pages on Facebook and YouTube were no longer accessible. Reports stated that its management and GMA Network will release a joint statement.

Heartfelt goodbyes from the hosts

On Instagram, Chariz shared some photos of herself with her co-hosts and the production staff.

“I'm excited for God's greater purpose for this Beautiful family. #TahanangPinakamasaya indeed,” Chariz wrote in the caption.

She also confirmed in the comments section that the show's last day was last Saturday. "Sadly, opo. But praying for the best days ahead," she replied to a commenter. "Ipagdarasal ko na mabigyan sila (crew members) agad ng trabaho, para sa kanilang pamilya,” she added.

Mavy Legaspi also shared photos on his Instagram, dedicating his post to the whole team.

"This wasn’t about me. since day 1, this was always about THEM," he wrote. "Because of them, I became a stronger person, a better colleague, a better host, a better son to my parents, a better brother to my twin and a better child of God."

"Lord, please do bless the staff & crew that worked so hard day in & day out every single day. they are our show. This show was always about them. please do take care of them and their respective families," he continued.

On Jan. 6, Tape Inc. rebranded their variety show Eat Bulaga to Tahanang Pinakamasaya! after the comedic trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, also known as TVJ won their trademark case.

In the said case, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPhl) has revoked the trademark registration of Television and Production Exponents, Inc., or TAPE Inc., for the names "Eat Bulaga" and "E.B." on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023.

The IPOPhl's decision supports the claims made by former Eat Bulaga hosts, substantiated by their evidence and detailed explanation of the trademark's origin. This ruling establishes them as the rightful proprietors of the said trademark.
