LIST: Winners of Miss Universe 2024 special awards
And just like that, the Miss Universe 2024 pageant has ended.
Held in Mexico, the international pageant was graced by a record-breaking 125 equally beautiful delegates from across the globe. They all competed for the coveted Miss Universe crown, which was ultimately won by Victoria Theilvig of Denmark on Sunday, Nov. 17 (PH Time).
Ngeria's Chidimma Adetshina is the first runner-up, while Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico was named the second runner-up. Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangs and Venezuela's Ileana Marquez Pedroza were named third and fourth runner-up, respectively.
Aside from the win of Theilvig, here is the list of special award winners, each of whom played a significant role in adding to the grandeur of the 73rd Miss Universe competition:
Preliminary competition
After the preliminaries for the national costume, swimsuit, and evening gown segments concluded on Friday, Nov. 15 (PH Time), the Miss Universe organization handed out special awards to the national directors and contestants who went above and beyond to serve the organization.

- Best National Host Tour Country - Jonas Antonio Gaffud (Philippines)
- Best Skin - Miss Honduras
- Beyond the Crown - Yizette Cifredo (Puerto Rico)
- Miss Congeniality - Trinidad and Tobago
The Voice for Change winners
The Voice for Change award allowed delegates to share their thoughts on many social concerns and fields, shedding light on individuals’ challenges and offering suggestions for solutions. Through this, they will "embody Miss Universe's mission of empowering confident women to make the world a better place."
Likewise, it enables delegates worldwide to showcase their character and magnify the social causes they believe in.

Meanwhile, PH’s Chelsea Manalo ended her Miss Universe journey in the Top 30.
If she had won the crown, Chelsea would be the fifth Pinay to win the coveted Miss Universe crown, following the wins of Catriona Gray (2018), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
Nonetheless, she made history as the first Filipina of African descent to win Miss Universe Philippines.
