Get ready to vibe with Puregold Channel’s first digital series ‘GVBOYS: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes’

Published Jul 07, 2021 2:15 pm

Ready for a blast from the past? The Puregold Channel is bringing laughs and good vibes in its first digital comedy series, GVBOYS: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes, premiering on July 10, 7PM.

Directed by Don Cuaresma, the 90s sitcom-inspired digital series features an ensemble cast and follows the story of three young male boarders.

Watch housemates Jawo, Dax, and Zeus stumble their way through one adventure (and misadventure) after another. The hilarious trio’s undeniable chemistry captures that feeling of goofing off with your barkada, with all the affection and fond teasing it entails.

But don’t mistake it for a one-note show, the comedy also has sweet emotional moments where our characters grow. It’s not a coming of age story for nothing!

The cast of GVBOYS

What is a show without its cast?

Our three lovable housemates will be portrayed by Jerome Ponce, Nikko Natividad, and Dave Bornea. Ponce will bring his significant charm to the role of Jaworski, or Jawo for short, a handsome celebrity wannabe.

Natividad, on the other hand, will charm everyone’s pants off as the street smart playboy Dax.

Lastly, Bornea’s Zeus appears to be just a pretty boy who has returned to the Philippines; unbeknownst to his friends, he’s hiding a big secret that could change their friendship forever.

Joining our three leads are Carmi Martin as Aling Pearly, the half Korean landlord of the boarding house; Wilma Doesnt as Loisa Soberano; and Elsa Droga as Kathryn B, Aling Pearly’s younger sibling.

GVBOYS: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes will have a total of eight episodes and two special episodes dropping every Saturday on Puregold Channel’s Facebook and Youtube pages.
