Alethea Ambrosio to represent PH in Miss Supranational 2024

We have a representative for the Miss Supranational competition!

The Miss Philippines Alethea Ambrosio is set to dazzle the stage in the 2024 edition of the international pageant.

This was after the organization named the country's representatives to various international pageants at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 official press presentation on Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Grand Ballroom in Hilton Manila.

Althea, hailing from Bulacan, was crowned by her predecessor, Pauline Amelinckx at the first edition of the Filipino Festival Awards Night. She aims to bring the country's second crown in the 2024 Miss Supranational pageant following Mutya Datul's victory in 2013.

In one of her videos for The Miss Philippines, she said that it is her vital role as a beauty queen to spread awareness of local tourism. 

"Bilang isang reyna, tungkulin kong mapalaganap ang turismo hindi lang dito sa Bulacan kundi sa buong Pilipinas. Dahil tulad ng Bulacan na siksik sa kultura at kasaysayan, ang mga tanawin at pasyalan dito sa Pilipinas ay talaga nga namang kay sarap balik-balikan," she said. 

The 15th edition of Miss Supranational will take place in Nowy Sacz, Lesser Poland, Poland, where Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador will pass on her crown to the new winner.

Among the appointed beauty queens last Feb. 18 were Hanna Uyan as Miss Eco Teen Philippines, Chantal Elise Schmidt as Miss Eco International Philippines, Isabelle de los Santos as Miss Aura Philippines, and Blessa Ericha as Miss Asia Pacific International Philippines.
