LOOK: NAIA Terminal 3 to open two new food halls
Two new food halls at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 are set to open "in the coming weeks."
"After seeing how much you enjoyed the Mezzanine Food Hall, we’re happy to share that more options are on the way," NAIA wrote on Facebook.
We’re getting two brand-new food halls. Look out for an All-Filipino Food Hall at the arrival area, and a Food Village on the airside.
NAIA said that they are set to open in the coming weeks.
The aesthetic of the halls is tropical and very Filipino, featuring gorgeous designs and colors, and classic rattan seating.
Social media users were quick to share their satisfaction with one user exclaiming, "Truly appreciate these upgrades. More food options means a more enjoyable and convenient journey. Thank you for making T3 better and better. Excited kami sa bagong food halls!"
Another one also said it was "perfect timing."
"More choices para hindi na nagmamadali maghanap ng kakainan," he wrote.
Meanwhile, others said NAIA should give the arrival and departure areas at the three terminals a facelift. "Mukha kasing hospital kapag nag arrival pati departure not so appealing Lalo sa turista. [S]a i[b]ang bansa arrival pa lang magpapa wow ka kala mo museum," they said.
This comes weeks after NAIA 3 opened its 6,000 square-meter Mezzanine Food Hall, which has a sleek, contemporary vibe with wave-like lighting and neutral tones of cream, gray, and wood accents.
Some establishments include Kenny Rogers, Seattle’s Best Coffee, LA Chicks, Paris Baguette, KFC, Chili’s, Nanyang, BreadTalk, and JCO Reserve.
San Miguel Corporation is the new operator of NAIA after it won the bid last year.
SMC president and chief executive officer Ramon Ang previously said they aim to “elevate NAIA to world-class standard, ensuring an exceptional experience for all travelers with first-rate services and facilities.”
