Girls just wanna go to ‘She Slays 2025: GirlCoded Convention’

She Slays, The Philippine STAR’s annual Women’s Month event, is getting a facelift this year with the GirlCoded Convention, a three-day event filled with everything girls love, need and vibe with.

With a focus on pop culture, passion and community, the convention features celebrity meet-and-greets, inspiring panels, a pop-up fair and workshops to build attendees’ confidence.

Fans can get a chance to meet actress Belle Mariano, cosplay star Charess, and drag artists Marina Summers and Maxie Andreison. Indie singer Pappel, hip-hop it-girl Ryannah J, and artist Dom Guyot will also perform.

The three-day event will include Girl Talk: Tell-All panels covering young women’s varying interests. Actress Aicelle Santos will recount her musical theater journey; student-athlete Bethany Talbot will share how sports shaped who she is; entrepreneur Cleo Loque will tell the story behind her brand Hiraya Pilipina and what it means to empower other women; and content creators Michelle Dy and Adelina Eugenio will get candid about content creation.

P-pop fans, meanwhile, can be part of a P-pop panel and a unique fan experience with Calista Anne, Kaia Sophia, and Dione Joyden and Clara.

Attendees can also join workshops to turn them into “that girl,” all geared toward helping them become their best selves. These include a fragrance workshop with Andrea Ferma, fashion with Mikaella Borinaga, and self-defense with Allison Quiroga.

After all the events, attendees can head to the pop-up fair with local brands and cute and quirky trinkets, including pre-loved items from content creators.
