Kanye West votes for someone he ‘truly trusts’... himself
Kanye West never ceases to surprise us. This time, he said he voted for himself in the ongoing 2020 US presidential election.
"God is so good," the musician tweeted on Tuesday, Nov. 3. "Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me."
West is running for presidency against Joe Biden and President Donald Trump, and is campaigning alongside his Vice Presidential candidate and healing coach, Michelle Tidball.
Few hours later, West shared a video of his ballot, with the caption: "KEEP BELIEVING KANYE 2020. Thank you Jesus Christ."
In another update, the award-winning rapper posted, "The first vote of my life. We are here to serve. We pray for every servant leader in the world."
It can also be seen that he wrote his name and his runningmate Tidball in the ballot. This is because West failed to meet the deadline in submitting his requirements to get his name on the ballot in most of the states in the US, except the following: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont.
In July, West shared his #2020vision revealing his candidacy and as a member of the "Birthday Party." "We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!" West tweeted.
Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me.
