Leni Robredo's X account gets hacked; hacker tweets about crypto
Former vice president Leni Robredo's account on X was hacked on Feb. 17.
"My X (Twitter) account was hacked. Please ignore all posts while I am trying to gain control of the account again," Robredo said on Facebook.
Her daughter Aika on X also shared a screenshot of the account talking about cryptocurrency.
"The tweet below is not hers," Aika warned. "Her team is currently working on regaining access. Please be warned, and thank you."
In the screenshot, Robredo's hacker/s partly said, "As a human rights lawyer and a politician, I've spent my career advocating for fairness and integrity and I believe those principles should extend to crypto."
The hacker/s said "faith in Solana would be restored" during its launch, which “will be nothing short of epic.”
Solana is a blockchain platform designed to host decentralized applications.
Just last month, actress Angel Locsin's X account was hacked.
Locsin, who's on a social media hiatus, Aug. 1, 2022, suddenly talked about crypto out of nowhere and positively replied to tweets about billionaire Elon Musk. She recovered her account after three days.
