LOOK: 35 Filipinos who made it to Tatler Asia's Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2024
Pinoys are making waves! More than 30 young entrepreneurs, innovators, and creatives from the Philippines have made it to Tatler Asia’s Gen.T 2024 list.
This year’s “Leaders of Tomorrow” recognizes over 200 personalities across Asia who make a positive impact in the region in terms of entertainment, technology, services, and civic engagement, among others.
Honorees are selected based on metrics, including business growth, fundraising success, expanded geographical impact, and more. Filipino celebrity host Tim Yap and Franco Varona of Foxmont Capital Partners were part of the panelists.
The selection process took six months, assessing candidates from seven countries and territories across Asia: the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, and mainland China.
The 35 changemakers in the Philippines include internet personality Abi Marquez also known as the “Lumpia Queen,” entrepreneur and animal rights advocate Christophe Bariou; gymnast-olympian Aleah Finnegan, Firefly director Zig Dulay, Villgro Philippines program manager for gender and inclusion Denise Patricia Dalusong, and fashion designer Chris Nick.
Also part of the list are social entrepreneur and founder of Bambuhay, Mark Sultan Gersava; web developer, co-founder and CEO of Parallax Mikaela Helene Reyes; and entrepreneur and founder of Cora Philippines, Catherine Triviño.
“These aren't just names on a list; they're over 200 passionate souls, each embodying the very best of what Asia has to offer. Whether they are founding tech startups or using their creativity for social change, their work embodies the spirit of leadership and excellence that Gen.T stands for,” the lifestyle magazine wrote.
