LOOK: Victory Liner opens first class passenger lounge in Baguio City

Is Baguio part of your travels this year?

A trip to the Summer Capital of the Philippines typically involves long hours of travel and, for commuters, lengthy waits between scheduled trips. But bus company Victory Liner, alongside the Department of Tourism-Cordillera Administrative Region, has recently opened its First Class/Royal Passenger Lounge at its terminal in Baguio City to ensure comfort for visitors.

During the launch, Regional Director Jovita Ganongan emphasized the importance of well-designed and comfortable terminals, as they often serve as a traveler’s first encounter with a destination, "and help shape their overall impression and experience."

The space features warm lights for a cozy feel. It features wood parquet flooring and a long cushioned bench against a wall. There are also small round tables with simple wooden chairs to provide more seating.

The ceiling is decorated with handcrafted hanging pendant lights in different shapes with designs that appear to have real pressed flowers and fern leaves embedded inside them. Other lighting also has those botanical elements, which give that natural, earthy aesthetic.

Some of the walls also showcase the endemic plants and animals from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through posters and murals that they can check out during their stay at the lounge.

The entire lounge is fully air-conditioned, providing passengers with a relaxing environment throughout their stay.

Victory Liner's Baguio terminal has daily trips to Cubao, Pasay, Caloocan, Sampaloc, Avenida, and municipalities like Bolinao and Dagupan. Check their schedule on their Facebook page.
