Schedule announced for Eraserheads' 'Huling El Bimbo' world tour
Gusto mo bang sumama? The world tour of the Eraserheads, widely considered as the country's greatest OPM band, will kick off in the United States this May.
WEU Event Management Services and DVent Productions, the band's local promoters during their highly acclaimed reunion concert in Parañaque last Dec. 22, made the announcement on Feb. 8.
The following cities and dates have been confirmed so far for Huling El Bimbo 2023 World Tour:
US

- May 25-26 – Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Lincoln, California
Canada

- June 10 – Universiade Pavilion (Butterdome), Northwest Edmonton, Alberta

Cities and dates for the Middle East, Europe, and Asia legs will be announced in the coming weeks, organizers said.
Each show will last two hours, featuring a setlist consisting of their greatest hits and fan favorites.
Each night will also include different songs unique to each city so no two shows are completely alike, organizers noted.
WEU Event Management Services and DVent Productions said they've partnered up with NY Entourage Productions for the North America and Canada legs of the tour. NY Entourage Productions has brought many Filipino artists onto the international stage, including Sharon Cuneta and Kuh Ledesma.
The Eraserheads—comprising Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro—also had a contract signing event with the companies at the Manila Polo Club Makati last Feb. 1.
“We’ll make sure the Eraserheads are well taken care of during their stops in North America and Canada,” Nancy Yang, NY Entourage Productions promoter, said in a statement.
“It will be the most comfortable tour Eraserheads will have in their lifetime,” added Ronald Esguerra, WEU Event Management Services chief operating officer.
The contract signing also saw the Eraserheads presenting their signed customized D&D electric guitar, which is up for auction for the medical expenses of Parokya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee, who has lymphoma.
The Eraserheads has struck a chord among legions of listeners here and worldwide with their catchy, relatable music about the everyday Filipino life. Their vast discography has influenced several generations of Pinoy musicians.
