Since September 2023, numerous individuals have contributed to the transformation of Ayala Avenue into a vibrant space, where everyone can be part of a healthier and more active lifestyle every Sunday morning. Whether you want to engage in exercise, relax, or spend quality time with your loved ones, your support has turned Car-Free Sundays into a cherished tradition in the heart of Makati.

Car-Free Sundays in Cebu

Cebu I.T. Park’s Car-Free Sunday on Sept. 22 embraces the theme of “Diversity in Motion: Fostering an Inclusive Community.” It’s not just a regular fun run, but an event with a purpose. The Coalition of Special Montessorians for Inclusive Communities (CoSMIC) and Cebu IT Park have joined forces to organize this event, which aims to bring people together, promote inclusivity, and celebrate diversity.

Whether you’re an experienced jogger or simply seeking to enjoy yourself while contributing to a worthwhile purpose, we have something for everyone. Additionally, we will be joined by 30 youngsters from Talamban SpEd Center, each accompanied by a parent or CoSMIC buddy, as they run alongside us.

Their involvement exemplifies the essence of this event: fostering connections and advocating for children with special needs. The Fun Run offers three categories - 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km - extending an invitation to moms, dads, and other like-minded organizations who are enthusiastic about supporting a charitable run.

Lea Salonga and Dolly de Leon in Request sa Radyo

Lea Salonga and Dolly de Leon, two renowned Filipino theatre icons, are set to share the spotlight in the highly anticipated production of Request sa Radyo at Circuit Makati.

This play, written by Franz Xaver Kroetz, delves into the emotional journey of a woman as she goes about her nightly rituals. Titled Wunschkonzert / Request Program in its original form, the play beautifully captures the poignant moments of solitude that envelop her existence.

The Asian premiere will have a strictly limited engagement with 20 performances and will begin on Oct.10 until Oct. 20, 2024 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Circuit Makati. Lea Salonga and Dolly De Leon will perform the solo piece in scheduled alternating performances. Tickets are selling fast, so make sure to secure yours promptly to avoid disappointment.
