Apollo Quiboloy's official Facebook, Instagram pages unavailable

The official Facebook and Instagram pages of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy have been made unavailable to the public on Aug. 17.

“This content isn't available right now. When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted,” the page shows in his URL facebook.com/ApolloQuiboloy. Before its deletion, the page amassed over a million-follower count in July 2023.

Meanwhile, his Instagram page with the username @pastoacq also prompted the same error: “Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed,” it reads.

Meta hasn’t issued a statement regarding the erasure of these pages as of writing.

In July, Quiboloy’s TikTok page was shut down. “We have banned Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s account in accordance with our Community Guidelines,” TikTok said in an official statement sent to The Philippine STAR.

In the same month, his media company SMNI News channel, and his church the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) were also shut down on YouTube

“Google is committed to compliance with applicable US sanctions laws and enforces related policies under its Terms of Service. After review and consistent with these policies, we terminated the Laban Kasama ang Bayan, KOJC & SMNI YouTube channels,” a YouTube spokesman said in a statement sent to The STAR.

While in June, his YouTube account was deleted after a social media user alerted the video-sharing platform via X (formerly Twitter) about Quiboloy’s pending criminal charges in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

“Upon review, we've determined that the channel is in violation of Community Guidelines & has been terminated,” they wrote.

Quiboloy, a self-proclaimed “Appointed Son of God,” has been on the FBI's most wanted list since February 2022, but is still actively preaching in and outside the Philippines.

A federal grand jury in the US District Court in California indicted Quiboloy for alleged crimes of “conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion; conspiracy; and bulk cash smuggling.” He was issued a federal warrant of arrest on November 10, 2021.
