Two kids die of suffocation after being trapped in abandoned car in Olongapo
Two kids died due to suffocation after getting trapped inside an abandoned car in Olongapo.
Based on the initial investigation of the Olongapo Police, two four-year-old boys were playing beside a parked abandoned car on Wednesday, April 8, when they decided to enter the vehicle without their families noticing.
The children were later unable to get out after failing to open the door from the inside.
George Francis Molina told GMA News' State of the Nation.
They were brought to the hospital, where one of them was declared dead on arrival. The other one died moments later.
The owner of the abandoned car said it had not been used for three years and that he believes it was locked.
The deceased children will be laid to rest on Tuesday, April 14. Their parents said they will not press charges, pointing out that it was an accident.
