TAPE, Inc. has released a public statement a day after the departure of Eat Bulaga! hosts and staff members.

Production company TAPE Inc., which produced the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, stressed its commitment to "provide quality entertainment" to the public through a statement released on June 1.

"We are happy for the full support of GMA 7 in making Eat Bulaga bigger, to bring more fun and excitement to every Filipino. We want to assure the public and the supporters of the show through its segments that we are committed to provide quality entertainment," they wrote.

They continued that the turn of events was "unfortunate" yet said that they still "have a duty" to fulfill for every Filipino.

Meanwhile, a photo of a resignation letter addressed to Jalosjos Jr. was obtained and shared by Pauleen Luna-Sotto.

"All the hosts, writers, sales, production, and cameramen followed suit after TVJ's resignation," the former Eat Bulaga host wrote.

It was signed by the show's hosts Paolo Ballesteros, Ariel "Jose" Manalo, Maine Mendoza, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Walter James "Wally" Bayola, Ryan Agoncillo, and Allan Quilantang or Allan K.

On May 31, the three veteran hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon surprised the nation by announcing their resignations from TAPE Inc. via livestream.

This comes after rumors of a rebranding and the three hosts getting fired had been going around for over a month.
