Tito, Vic, and Joey share glimpse of emotional moment before Eat Bulaga's departure from TAPE Inc.

This was Eat Bulaga! host Tito Sotto's fervent prayer moments before he and co-hosts Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon announced that their long-running show is departing from its producer TAPE Inc. on May 31.

In the video, the veteran hosts are seen gathering with the rest of the show's staff for a heartfelt prayer and to shed some tears over the show's untimely departure.
“This is what happened before the decision,” they wrote in the caption. “Believe in prayers.”
Tito Sotto began the prayer seeking guidance as they make the major move of parting ways from their producer while highlighting how they were able to sustain for over four decades.
“We praise and thank You Lord for gathering us today, for keeping us together for 44 years of some of us and many years for most of us. We praise and thank You for all the graces and blessings that You’ve given us,” he said.
“We lift up to You our cast, our production staff, we lift up to You ourselves that You may help and guide us in this undertaking that we are about to do,” he continued.
Being the country’s longest-running noontime variety show, it is undeniable that they have helped many Dabarkads all over the country.
“We lift up to you, whatever happens, we lift up to you Eat Bulaga! and the program that we will carry on thereafter,” said Tito Sen.
The veteran host also expressed his gratitude to the Lord for “removing all obstacles” and allowing all the main cast and production staff to gather on their final live airing yesterday, May 31.
“Sumasainyo po ang aming panalangin, kami po ay lumalapit at humihingi ng bendisyon po Ninyo,” he concluded.
The major move happened after rumors of the noontime show’s rebranding circulated over a month ago. TVJ has previously broken their silence and revealed what was happening backstage—including TAPE’s owed money to the major hosts, financial losses, and political issues within the production company.
Shortly after their announcement, several Dabarkads, guest hosts, and notable personalities like Ice Seguerra, Alden Richards, and Jake Ejercito expressed their sorrow and heartfelt messages in support of the show.
