UP, Ateneo, DLSU in 2026 QS World University Asia Rankings
Thirty-five Philippine universities secured spots in the 2026 QS World University Rankings: Asia list, with the University of the Philippines topping the Philippine contingent.
UP ranked 104 among over 1,500 universities in Asia. Ateneo de Manila University came second with a rank of 141, followed by De La Salle University at 178, and the University of Santo Tomas at 184.
Since 2023, all four consistently topped the list for Philippine universities in the QS World University Rankings, in the same order.
It is the country's best performance yet in the annual Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings. In 2025, 25 Philippine universities were included in the list; in 2024, 5; and in 2023, 4.
