Bea Borres takes break from work amid high-risk pregnancy
Content creator Bea Borres announced that she will not be taking on any work commitments until 2026 to focus on her high-risk pregnancy.
On Facebook, Borres shared that she would be taking a break.
"Hello to all the brands reaching out, I am truly grateful for your trust and interest in working with me. However, due to my current high-risk pregnancy, I will not be accepting any new inquiries or collaborations until 2026," she wrote.
"I truly love what I do and am grateful for the work I have as a creator, but at this time, I believe it is most important to focus on myself and my baby’s health," she added.
She noted that any brand-related content that will be uploaded on her social media is filmed or scheduled in advance.
Before this, Borres said that she'll be taking a little break from social media.
"[I] wanted to be a super mom so bad to the point that I was already compromising Pea’s health. [I] need to focus on her growth now, [because] unfortunately, she’s only at her 1st percentile," she wrote in her Oct. 30 post.
In obstetrics, healthcare providers use percentiles to assess how a fetus’s size aligns with others of the same gestational age, per the Cleveland Clinic.
"[I]f you’re pregnant or soon to be a single mom, please take a rest, mommas. [R]emember that growing a life inside of us is already more than enough," she added.
In another separate Facebook post, Borres shared a glimpse into her struggles in a high-risk pregnancy.
“So, I have high-risk pregnancy kasi. Lord, just make my baby healthy. Hindi na ako magiging malandi 'cause this is too hard. Ayoko na, hindi na ako magiging malandi,” she said as she was laughing and crying while taking her blood pressure.
Borres announced her pregnancy on Aug. 12. She revealed that her daughter's name will be Victoria Hope.
She also previously said that she would not be co-parenting with anyone.
