'Hello, Love, Again' producers take legal action against piracy
The producers of Hello, Love, Again warned to take legal action against those who are illegally copying and downloading the newly released film starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
ABS-CBN's Star Cinema and GMA Pictures in a joint post said the producers of the film "do not tolerate any form of piracy" and are "taking down illegal copies and downloads of the film."
"Star Cinema and GMA Pictures are in the process of pursuing legal action against people who have been selling, posting and sharing the film," it said.
Those who violate will face 9 years of imprisonment and a P1.5 million penalty.
"Pinipigilan ng pamimirata ang pagbangon ng industriya ng pagpepelikula," they wrote in the caption.

Hello, Love, Again is the sequel to director Cathy Garcia-Sampana's 2019 blockbuster movie Hello, Love, Goodbye. It is set five years on from when Joy (Bernardo) left Ethan (Richards) and Hong Kong to pursue her dreams in Canada.
Star Cinema on Friday morning said the film earned over P155 million in its first two days.
Sharing photos with Alden and Cathy, Kathryn, said their hearts are "overflowing with so much joy" and that the news was "more than what we've prayed and wished for."
"We poured so much love into this project, and you returned that love a thousandfold. The amount of support we’ve been receiving is beyond what any of us could have imagined. Maraming salamat po," she wrote, thanking her fellow Filipinos for allowing them to continue sharing the love story of Joy and Ethan.
