Fil-Am actor Nico Santos marries longtime boyfriend Zeke Smith

Filipino-American actor Nico Santos just got married to his long-time boyfriend, reality television star Zeke Smith.

PEOPLE Magazine reported that they tied the knot last Nov. 4 at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs, California.

"For us, we've been together for almost six years,” Smith told PEOPLE ahead of the wedding. “We own a home together, have a joint bank account. We're each other's emergency contacts. By all sorts of usual metrics, we are married.”

But Smith noted that “actually having the ceremony” and “making it legal” is about “becoming a family” and being “in it forever.”

"Weddings and getting married, I never thought this would be part of my life," Santos added.

Their wedding ceremony used bright neon decor and wood elements, rattan, fringe, and woven grass, PEOPLE reported.

Santos wore a "sassified" barong, while Smith sported black lizard cowboy boots. They cited lines from Shakespeare during the nuptials and had a surprise drag Dolly Parton appearance during the reception.

Santos hails from Manila, Philippines while Smith is from Edmond, Oklahoma. They first met at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards organized by the non-government organization Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. They made their relationship social media official two months later.

Smith proposed to Santos at the award show’s 2022 edition.

Santos is known for his roles in the romantic comedy movie Crazy Rich Asians, the sitcom Superstore, and the superhero movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Smith, meanwhile, joined Survivor: Millenials vs. Gen X and Survivor: Game Changers.
