Weekend hangs: iKON concert, SATC-themed matcha fest, and more events to join this July 3 to 5
July is here! If you're looking for fun ways to kick off the first weekend of the month, Metro Manila has plenty to offer.

Here are some of the events happening around Metro Manila this weekend.
July 3: Community Theater

Theater lovers, this one's for you. The Community Theater Encounter will bring together theater enthusiasts for an interactive session led by Taiwanese director, playwright, and poet Chung Chiao on July 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Malabon National High School.
Also happening on the same day is the KRI Bima Suci, an Indonesian vessel, which will have a goodwill visit to Manila, featuring a marching band parade at Rizal Park from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Visitors can also tour the Indonesian tall ship during its open ship schedule from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pier 15, South Harbor, Manila.
July 3 to 5: Moonlit Matcha and the City

Matcha lovers have another weekend stop to add to their list. A three-day Sex and the City-themed pop-up market will feature curated local merchants, live DJs, fashion, accessories, piercings, a photobooth, and, of course, plenty of matcha.
The event runs from July 3 to 5, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Burgos Park, Forbestown, Bonifacio Global City.
July 4 to 5: Great Weekend Bridal Fair

Planning your dream wedding? Couples preparing for their big day can explore everything they need at the Great Weekend Bridal Fair Sale, where more than 100 wedding suppliers will be gathered under one roof.
Visitors can take advantage of exclusive event-only offers and discounts of up to 50% off on wedding essentials, including gowns, suits, styling, venues, photography, catering, giveaways, and more.

July 4: Fast Fashion: The Girlypop Card Game

Fashion lovers and card game enthusiasts are invited to a free demo of "Fast Fashion: The Girlypop Card Game" by Carabao Chronicles on July 4 at Hobby Kaikan.
Guests can learn how to play the beginner-friendly card game, where players race to create the most stylish outfits while outsmarting their rivals. Attendees will also have the chance to meet fellow players and the game's creator, Cara Vianca Funa, for an afternoon of fashion, strategy, and fun.
The event begins at 2 p.m. onwards at Hobby Kaikan, 3F East Wing, Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Admission is free.
July 5: Porta Pack Walk

Looking for something fun to do with your furbaby this weekend? The PORTA Pack Walk is set for Sunday, July 5, giving pet owners and their furry companions a chance to explore Quezon City alongside fellow fur parents.
Participants will meet at 7 a.m. at Bobba's Backyard Café on Scout Rallos before taking a walk through Tomas Morato and Scout Tuason. The activity concludes back at the café, where attendees can claim their goodie bags and enjoy complimentary drinks.

July 5: "iKON FOUREVER" world tour

Filo iKONIC, are you ready? The boys are coming to town this weekend!
iKON are returning to Manila for the Philippine stop of their "iKON FOUREVER" tour on July 5 at the SMX Convention Center. Tickets are priced from P3,500 to P15,000.
The tour features Bobby, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, and Chanwoo, who have all completed their mandatory military service. The group last visited the Philippines in April 2024 for their "Get Back" tour, while Jay also held a solo concert at the Music Museum in January.
