ZIPAIR to suspend Narita-Manila route by March 29

Published Feb 26, 2026 10:12 am

ZIPAIR Tokyo is suspending its flight service between Tokyo (Narita) and Manila by March.

In case you missed it, the Japan-based carrier issued a notice, announcing that the suspension is set to take effect at the start of the 2026 summer schedule, beginning March 29, and citing shifting market conditions as the primary driver.

For those who have already secured their tickets, ZIPAIR said that all reservations scheduled through March 28 will remain unaffected and will proceed as planned.

However, the airline issued a note for those utilizing its FlexBiz package. While these passengers can typically modify their itineraries, changes to Manila route reservations will no longer be accepted after the March 28 cutoff.

Those who hold a voucher from a FlexBiz booking can still apply it toward ancillary services such as seat selection and in-flight meals, or new bookings on the airline’s other routes.

Travelers with further questions or those needing assistance may reach out to their Customer Service Center.

ZIPAIR is a budget-friendly carrier known for offering premium-style amenities at reasonable prices. It launched its Tokyo Narita and Manila service on July 1, 2023.
