The BPI 7th Metro Manila Golf Cup held on Oct. 2 at the Ayala Greenfield Golf & Leisure Club allowed BPI to enhance customer loyalty and create opportunities for potential collaboration and business with its most loyal clients.

“The BPI Metro Manila Golf Cup is an annual event, and we would like to thank our clients for their participation. Golf is more than just a sport; it’s an occasion where we are with clients for fellowship and friendship,” said BPI president and CEO Jose Teodoro “TG” Limcaoco.

The friendly game served as a venue for the bank to not only strengthen relationships with corporate clients, but also gain a deeper understanding of their business needs and requirements.

“As the pioneer bank in Southeast Asia, we continue to focus on customer obsession to allow us to serve more customers. With activities like the Metro Manila Golf Cup, we are able to strengthen our relationships with clients who help us achieve our goals for the people we serve,” said BPI institutional banking head Juan Carlos “John-C” Syquia.

The BPI Golf Cup was first held in 2014 to further establish the bank’s relationships with its corporate clients, who have benefited from its premium corporate services and have come to trust BPI for their banking needs for crucial business requirements and transactions. These include exceptional advice, as well as reliable guidance on corporate and investment, insurance, securities brokerage and distribution, foreign exchange, and leasing.

The golf tournament forms part of BPI’s dedication to its clients, business partners, and other stakeholders.

BPI has also embarked on an internal customer obsession program. Under the program, the bank assigned customer delight officers to help empower frontliners and created agile teams to address common customer pain points.

With these measures in place, BPI looks forward to serving more customers and providing innovative financial solutions.
