Run for a cause: Wilcon Depot’s 10-Miler Run

Wilcon Depot, a company known for its customer-centric approach, aims to strengthen its connection with the community, and it starts with you.

The Philippines' leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, Wilcon Depot, will host the 10-Miler Run 2026 in support of environmental and humanitarian causes. The event aims to bring together health and fitness advocates, members of the construction design community, media partners, and valued suppliers from across the country on June 21, at Parqal, Aseana City in Parañaque City.

Registration for the event can be completed online or at select Wilcon Depot branches, including Wilcon Depot Balintawak, Wilcon Depot IT Hub in Makati, and Wilcon Depot Filinvest, as well as pop-up booths at Filinvest Mall and Parqal Mall.

On-site registration at Wilcon Depot Balintawak, Wilcon Depot IT Hub, and Wilcon Depot Filinvest is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until May 29.

Meanwhile, registration at Filinvest Mall is available from Monday to Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., until June 19. Participants may also register at Parqal Mall from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from May 29 to 31.

Participants who register for the run will receive an official race kit and can choose to compete in one of three race categories: 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, or 16 kilometers. The race categories are designed to accommodate runners of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

More than just a running event, the Wilcon Depot 10-Miler Run seeks to make a meaningful impact by supporting organizations dedicated to environmental conservation, humanitarian aid, and sustainable wildlife management. Proceeds from the event will benefit Bantay Kalikasan, the environmental arm of ABS-CBN Foundation, which has been recognized since 1998 for its efforts in biodiversity protection, ecosystem management, and sustainable community development. 

Also set to benefit from the initiative is Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc., an organization committed to providing humanitarian assistance and disaster response to underserved communities nationwide. Part of the proceeds will likewise support Crocodylus Porosus Philippines Inc., a commercial crocodile farming organization dedicated to sustainable wildlife management and conservation since 2000. 

The event reflects the company’s continued commitment to promoting wellness, community engagement, and environmental responsibility through impactful initiatives that encourage unity and active lifestyles.
