'BINIfied' delivers a flashy, bombastic year-end party

BINI, the Nation’s Girl Group, threw a high-octane, light-strobing year-end party called "BINIfied" that left fans raving.

Neither the scorching heat nor the soaking rain could stop the dedicated Blooms from flocking to the Philippine Arena last Saturday, Nov. 29. Fans showed up as early as 9 a.m. to passionately support the girls. Others went above and beyond, rode in BINI-themed buses, set up a giant “First Luv” balloon, posted arena billboard greetings, and organized a motorcade around the Ciudad de Victoria complex.

The girls did not disappoint as they blasted through the night with a nonstop, no-holds-barred opening performance: a suspenseful yet energizing Shagidi, a heart-thumping Out of My Head, and a pulsating Zero Pressure—mostly tracks from their globally appealing Biniverse

As promised in their teaser, BINI returned with new solo performances—a feat not seen since their first-ever "Biniverse" concert in 2024—but this time, showcasing more of the individual members' hands-on creativity and ingenuity.

Stacey kicked off with strong and sassy moves in a girl power-induced Complicated by Demi Lovato, donning a maroon and gold superhero-like outfit.

Aiah followed second, dressed in a golden robe seemingly inspired by her East Asia travels, letting out a mesmerizing Genie in a Bottle. She followed it up with a powerful Fighter, stripping and headbanging into a buckle-strapped red outfit oozing with strength and grace.

Mystery hung in the air as a helmet-wearing, motorcycle-riding figure zoomed into the arena, only to show herself as BINI leader Jhoanna. Once revealed, she did not hold back in jamming and rapping selfie video-style to Ex Battalion's Pakinabang and Gloc 9's Sumayaw Ka, proving that she is not only a high-note hitter but a word spitter as well.

Gwen commanded the stage, showing a different side as she sang and jived to Don't Go Yet flamenco-style in her flowy red dress.

Maloi went full-on nightingale as she showed vocal agility in Bridge Over Troubled Water followed by a classy Don't You Worry About a Thing in her glittering silver outfit.

A hooded Colet let loose a flurry of strikes on a drumset bearing her name before dancing to 4 Minutes in her royal-looking caped outfit.

The boyish Mikha, arguably the show's scene-stealer, drove Blooms crazy as she went out of a red-winged golden bird cage, clad in a golden outfit with red accents, doing the splits. She unleashed a sensual side and maximized her undeniable flexibility in Feeling Good and Sway

Last but definitely not least, Sheena once again proved herself a dancing queen as she busted popping-locking moves to Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk in silver streetwear.

BINI also did not let their OG Blooms down as they grooved to their signature hits Pantropiko, Karera, and Salamin, Salamin.

Just when the night felt like it was over, the girls literally soared as they debuted some of their FLAMES songs like Paruparo and Infinity lifted by a worrisome butterfly contraption that delivered an acrophobia-overcoming poetic finale.

"BINified" provides nothing but assurance that the once-glossed-over Da Coconut Nut sweethearts have metamorphosed into P-pop royalties ready to take over the world—Coachella 2026 and beyond.

A fitting yearender and a resounding victory for Filipino music!
