Published Jan 13, 2022 6:41 pm

It's been almost a month since Typhoon Rai, locally known as Typhoon Odette, badly tore through the communities and regions of Surigao, Bohol, Cebu, Palawan, and Leyte in December 2021, and many of those affected are still struggling to find food and water.

If you're wondering how to be more helpful in these trying times, one great way is to support brands giving back.

Here's a list of brands that pledge to donate proceeds from their sales to help with the relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Odette.

Artisanat Handmade

Womenswear brand Artisanat Handmade is donating all profits from their limited edition Lucy Top (P1,295) from their Holiday collection to communities affected by Typhoon Odette in Bohol.

Donations are also welcome thru GCash (0917-3191782, Rica Rosario Borja) or BDO (006240101418, Rica Rosario Borja).

Golden Monstera

Pre-order a set of 5 (P3,500) or 10 (P5,000) Myan Bangles from Golden Monstera and you get to help buy construction materials that will be needed in rebuilding Siargao. 100% of the sales will be donated for the said cause.

"With your help, keepers of a centuries-old handloom weaving technique, and makers of our Padayon brand’s modern malongs and blankets, may slowly rebuild their homes and lives," they wrote.
